Teacher Flogs Student To Death In Lagos

A teacher at Araromi-Ilogbo Senior Secondary School, Oko-Afo, Badagry, Lagos, allegedly beat his student to death.

The teacher simply identified as Oluwale reportedly beat the 16-year-old student, David Babadipo, on Thursday.

Following the incident, the victim was rushed to the hospital where was confirmed dead.

The death of the Babadipo elicited public reactions and sparked a protest by his colleagues in school who demanded justice for the deceased.

In a video that went viral on social media platforms, the students of the school where the incident happened were seen running in different directions.

Some Facebook users also commented on the incident.

Bangose Jide, a Facebook user, posted: β€œThe teacher is named Mr. Olawale, a vice principal. The case has been reported to the Morogbo Police Station at Badagry Expressway, Lagos State. David Babadipo was a native of Ipoti, Ekiti State.”

The Lagos State Police Command is yet to speak on the tragic incident.
