VeryDarkMan, Mr Jollof fights dirty on Aircraft

by Folarin Kehinde November 17, 2025
written by Folarin Kehinde

A dramatic confrontation erupted onboard a commercial aircraft on Monday after popular social media personality, VeryDarkMan, and entertainer, Mr. Jollof, engaged in a physical altercation in the presence of shocked passengers.

The clash, which eyewitnesses say began with a heated verbal exchange, quickly escalated into punches before cabin crew intervened.

According to passengers who filmed portions of the scuffle, tension started when both men exchanged insults while boarding the flight headed to Lagos from Asaba(United Nigeria). The argument intensified as they settled into their seats, with each accusing the other of past online provocations.

In one of the videos now circulating online, Mr. Jollof can be seen rising from his seat as VeryDarkMan stood to confront him. Moments later, both men lunged at each other, trading blows as stunned passengers shouted for security.

Flight attendants and airline security personnel rushed in to separate the pair. Several passengers reportedly appealed to the two internet personalities to calm down, but the confrontation continued until additional crew members stepped in.

It was not immediately clear whether either of them sustained injuries, but both appeared visibly agitated as security personnel escorted them to different parts of the aircraft.

VeryDarkMan has reacted to the matter and displayed bite mark injuries on his Chest from Mr. Jollof.

JUST-IN: VeryDarkMan Granted Bail

by Folarin Kehinde May 6, 2025
written by Folarin Kehinde

Controversial social media critic, Mr. Martins Innocent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan has been granted administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and will be released upon perfection of his bail condition.

The anti-corruption agency also revealed that it arrested the social media personality due to several petitions received against him on allegations bordering on financial crimes.

This was disclosed on Tuesday by the EFCC on its verified Facebook page where the commission explained the reason for arresting the critic.

“The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the exercise of its mandate of tackling economic and financial crimes, invited Martins Innocent Otse owing to a series of petitions bordering on sundry issues of alleged financial crimes raised against him,” the EFCC said.

It further added that VDM refused to show up, in spite of several invitations sent to him through his known addresses and medium of communication.

EFCC stressed that the petitions pertain to grave allegations of financial malfeasance which cannot be ignored by the Commission.

It is needful to admit that the Commission is aware of several unguarded attacks of the suspect against its operations. While such conduct is condemnable, his arrest was not informed by such attacks. The relevant law enforcement agency will be allowed to look into them.

“The EFCC has a lawful right to hold Otse in custody like any other suspect being investigated by the Commission,” EFCC said.

In effecting the arrest and remand, the commission revealed that appropriate remand order was obtained in this regard by the commission, stressing, “He has been offered an administrative bail and would be released after fulfilling all the bail conditions.”

The Commission appreciates the interest of Nigerians in its operations, welcoming the passion, enthusiasm and torrential reactions to all of its activities.

“However, insinuations about its motive in carrying out its assignment should no longer continue. The EFCC should be allowed to do its job without fear or favour. As soon as investigations are concluded, charges will be filed,” the Commission said.

by Folarin Kehinde May 2, 2025
written by Folarin Kehinde

Popular Nigerian social media personality and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, known widely as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Abuja.

The arrest reportedly followed his public criticism of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) over alleged unauthorized transactions from his mother’s account.

His lawyer, Barrister Deji Adeyanju, confirmed the development on Twitter on Friday, revealing that officers of the Nigeria Police Force apprehended VeryDarkMan at Area 3 in Abuja.

“JUST IN: VDM arrested by the police at GTB. Spoke to them before he was arrested. This is absolutely unacceptable. Demanding accountability is not a crime,” Adeyanju tweeted.

In another update, he added, “A team of policemen arrested VDM at GTB. He was arrested with his friend C Park but they left his mom alone.”

More details to come…..

JUST IN: Bobrisky arrested by Immigration while trying to flee Nigeria – Very Dark Man

by Folarin Kehinde October 21, 2024
written by Folarin Kehinde

Famous Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has claimed in a new video posted on Instagram that Bobrisky, the well-known Nigerian crossdresser, has been arrested by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).

According to VDM, Bobrisky was apprehended at the Seme Border Post while attempting to flee Nigeria for the Benin Republic.

This arrest comes after Bobrisky’s name became entangled in a controversy involving allegations he made in a viral audio clip.

In the audio, Bobrisky allegedly bragged about avoiding prison time during a sentencing and discussed how a N15 million money laundering case against him was dropped.

These claims led to Bobrisky being summoned by the Nigerian House of Representatives, but he failed to attend the hearing, citing illness.

VDM, who had previously appeared before the House of Representatives alongside lawyer Deji Adeyanju, revealed in the video that Bobrisky tried to hide in a car while someone else signed his international passport at the border.
