2027: How Opposition Can Unseat Tinubu – Primate Ayodele Reveals

by Folarin Kehinde November 13, 2024
written by Folarin Kehinde

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned opposition political parties about the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement on Tuesday, Ayodele emphasized that a united opposition front is the only way to unseat President Bola Tinubu.

He advised major opposition parties such as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to form a coalition, or their efforts would be in vain.

Ayodele explained that without a collective strategy and a strong, capable candidate, the opposition would face certain defeat.

He remarked, “If PDP, Labour, NNPP don’t unite to form a coalition and propose one rugged and solid candidate for the 2027 presidential election, they won’t be able to unseat President Tinubu.”

Further criticizing the PDP’s internal dynamics, Ayodele warned that if the party fielded former Vice President Atiku Abubakar again, it would result in a “disaster.”

He added that no current PDP governor had the necessary strength to challenge Tinubu’s presidency.

“If PDP decides to field Atiku, it will be a disaster, they will lose the election,” Ayodele said. “There is no sitting governor in the PDP who has the capacity to become president in 2027. They are not strong enough.”

As the 2027 election approaches, Ayodele’s remarks highlight the growing pressure for opposition unity if the opposition is to have a fighting chance against the incumbent president.

Primate Ayodele Reveals Nature of Governor Akeredolu’s Illness, Gives Solution

by Folarin Kehinde December 1, 2023
written by Folarin Kehinde

The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said the illness affecting their governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, needs a spiritual solution.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele revealed that Governor Akeredolu’s illness is more spiritual than physical and urged for prayers for his restoration.

“Governor Akeredolu needs prayers for him to come back to office and to return to power. His family needs to seek the face of God concerning his illness,” the statement said.

He further stated that “the illness is determined to make him completely incapacitated if they don’t seek the face of God on time so that he can finish his term.”

Primate Ayodele warned that the governor’s health should not be used for any political gains. “His family and well-wishers should seek God’s face. They shouldn’t use Akeredolu’s life for political interest, what he needs now is prayers of restoration.”

The Primate’s statements come amidst growing concerns about Governor Akeredolu’s health, which has forced him to stay away from the state.
