Despite the unpleasant reputation that our police force has, there are still some good eggs in the police institution.
A Nigerian Man has expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Police Force, for helping him fix his flat tire after he was left stranded.
The man who was driving through Iseyin Ibadan Highway developed a flat tire. According to him, he flagged many motorists for help because his jack got spoilt in the process of trying to change the tyre, but none of them stopped to help him.
When he was about to resign to his fate, some good officers from Dugbe Police Station came along.
They stopped to inquire from the man what was wrong. After narrating his ordeal to them, they went out of their way to fix and replace the flat tyre with a spare one.
When they were done, he begged them to take N3,000 as a token of appreciation but they rejected his plea.
Their response was that they were only doing their jobs and did not need to be rewarded with money.
The three officers are: Officer Tunmise, Officer Daudu and Officer Michael of Dugbe police station, Ibadan.
The lucky man prayed for God’s blessings on the police officers, for coming to his aid.
