Afrobeats star Wizkid has set a new milestone as every track from his latest album, Morayo, occupies the top 17 positions on Apple Music. This achievement came less than 10 hours after the album’s release on November 22, 2024.
Morayo, a tribute to Wizkid’s late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023, has already made a significant impact. The album’s lead single, Piece of My Heart, secured No. 4 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and No. 7 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
The album also shattered streaming records in Nigeria, with one of its singles racking up 1.57 million streams on Spotify within its first day.
