As part of efforts to cushion the current economic situation in Nigeria, a non-governmental organization, Favour Aro Care Foundation has promised to support the out-of-school children, especially the vulnerable in Nigeria.

Founder of the foundation, Favour Queen Favour Tari Aro said the foundation is bent on advocating for the less privileged children’s education in the society while ensuring their return back to school.

Tari while speaking with journalist in Abuja during her foundations visit to lanto area in kuje area council said the visit is a repeat of what the foundation did in Sampo community in kolokuma-Opokuma local government area in Bayelsa state where over 750 children were reached out to by the foundation.

She also said the economic situation has affected most parents to pay the fees of their wards in schools, the foundation stand out to send the vulnerable children back to school, give them a sense of belonging and also help with school materials.

Favour Aro Care Foundation noted that Nigeria has 20.2million out of school children, those are children going to school before and dropped out but now we have about 14.4 not in school children, the foundation is seeing how those not in school children go back to school.

The founder revealed that as there is financial crisis in the country and such has affected the less privileged children, the foundation has visited states like Lagos,Kogi Bayelsa and Abuja the federal capital territory with mandate of going round the 36 states of Nigeria making sure that the less privileged children go back to school.

Foundation confirmed supports from some Nigerians but the government can still come in support as the focus is making sure we get children back to school because education is key.

Favour Aro Care Foundation came into existence in the year 2022 with the opening in 2024 but has not relented in doing many projects across the few states visited with the hope of doing in various states in future to impact more lives.
