President Bola Tinubu has nominated Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro for appointment as a new minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The nomination follows the recent appointment of the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Prof. Yilwatda, who hails from Plateau State, vacated his ministerial position after assuming his new role within the ruling party.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga announced Dr. Doro’s nomination, noting that the appointment is subject to confirmation by the Senate.
