NAFDAC bans sale of Dex Luxury bar soap

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has announced a ban on the sale of Dex Luxury bar soap due to Butyphenyl Methylpropional (BMHCA) content.

This was contained in a post on the Agency’s X handle on Thursday, April 11.

The post reads: “Public Alert No. 012/2024.Ban on the sale of Dex Luxury Bar Soap due to Butyphenyl Methylpropional (BMHCA) content.”
