YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul emerged victorious against former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a highly anticipated and controversial fight on Friday night.
The bout, streamed live on Netflix, saw Paul secure a win by points with scores of 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 from the judges. At 31 years younger than Tyson, Paul maintained a clear advantage throughout the contest.
Tyson, known as “Iron Mike,” struggled with movement during the fight, while Paul appeared cautious in the final rounds, refraining from going for a knockout.
Over the 16-minute bout, Tyson landed just 18 punches out of 97 thrown. In contrast, Paul delivered a dominant performance, landing 78 punches from 278 attempts—over four times as many as Tyson.
The match has sparked debates among fans and analysts regarding its fairness and the physical condition of the 57-year-old Tyson compared to the younger and more active Paul.
