The All Progressives Congress (APC) has included FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke in its revised Presidential Campaign Council list for President Bola Tinubu.
The inclusion of the three politicians, who are associated with parties other than the APC, is among the notable appointments in the updated list released on Tuesday.
Under the new arrangement, Wike, the Minster of the FCT and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been named campaign coordinator for Tinubu in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory.
Soludo, a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), was appointed campaign coordinator for Anambra State, while Adeleke, who is associated with the Accord Party, will oversee the president’s campaign in Osun State.
The revised list also features Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo as one of the Campaign Council Advisers. Obafemi George was equally named an adviser on media matters.
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has been appointed Deputy Director-General (South II) of the campaign council.
Similarly, Rivers State House of Assembly Speaker Martin Amaewhule was named South-South Deputy Coordinator for State Assemblies Mobilisation.
Minister of Works David Umahi also secured a position as Deputy Director-General for Infrastructure and Sensitisation.
The appointments form part of the APC’s revised campaign structure as the party consolidates its political machinery around Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
