Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has debunked rumours claiming she has reunited with her estranged husband, music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
The speculation followed the circulation of a video on social media showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub, with many users suggesting they had reconciled.
Reacting to the claims, Annie took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to dismiss the reports, stating that the video being circulated was old and was being used to spread false information.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
The rumours gained momentum after the old clip resurfaced online on Friday, July 17, sparking widespread reactions and speculation that the former couple had rekindled their relationship.
However, Annie’s clarification indicates that the footage was not recent, effectively dismissing the reconciliation claims.
Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025, bringing to an end a union that lasted for more than a decade.
