Promoters and Trustees of Friends of Israel Foundation have reiterated the need for capacity building as a way of productively engaging the Nigeria youths. The Foundation President Mr. Bile Samaila made this assertion during the interactive courtesy visit to the Director General of Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre Abuja, on the 15th of March 2017.
- BILE SAMAILA during the interactive session stated that the vision and objective of the foundation like CLTC borders on transforming Nigerian Economy and empowering the youths via Capacity Building of Nigeria youth, through character-reformation that manifest true Nigeria citizenship, hard work, honest living, commitment, honesty, patriotism, respect for constituted authorities and selfless service. He said their target is to enrich the minds of Nigerians through character-change and re-orientation programmes around peaceful coexistence and promotion of social cohesion.
“When we coexist peacefully as a Nation, we are capable of developing and growing ourselves, our potentials and our collective endowments. This is what we stand for vis-à-vis as it relates to our Diaspora relationship with Israel which when fully tapped into would bring about a strong unbreakable relationship.
“No nation survives to greatness by just building a crop of unemployed loyalist of large fellowship, if such are not productive and positioned for decision making”.
He insisted that the match to true nationhood and development begins with sound leadership training and development, which his foundation stands for and which formed the basis of their visit to solicit partnership and collaboration with the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Abuja.
He further said that such partnership with the centre as critical stake-holder in harnessing leadership qualities of Nigerians will stir skill acquisition, agricultural growth, empowerment, technological transfer, I.C.T. development, research based transfer , and security strengthening support which can be achieved by bonding two way relationship with Israel.
“All the potentials Nigeria prides in can only be achieved through sustained peaceful atmosphere of love, accessibility, acceptability and affiliation with the state of Israel”.
